Terms of Service

Last updated: October 5, 2026. Questions: support@trym.app.

1. The service

Trym provides a platform that salons and barbershops ("Tenants") use to run their business: a branded website, online booking, payments, a shop, emails and management tools. The customers of a salon ("Users") book and pay the salon through the salon's Trym website. Trym is not a party to the contract between a salon and its Users.

2. Accounts

Tenants must give accurate information, keep their sign-in details safe and are responsible for what their team members do in their account. Trym may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law.

3. Subscription and fees

Tenants pay a subscription to use Trym. The price, taxes and billing period are shown before purchase, and the subscription renews automatically until it is cancelled. Depending on the plan, Trym may also charge a platform fee on payments processed through the platform, such as shop sales. Refunds of the subscription follow our Refund Policy.

4. Payments between salons and their customers

Users pay the salon directly through Stripe Connect. Trym does not hold the salon's funds. The salon alone is responsible for its prices, the taxes it must collect, refunds, cancellations, cancellation fees and payment disputes with its Users.

5. Content and data

Tenants keep ownership of their content and of their customers' data, and grant Trym the rights needed to host and display it in order to provide the service. Tenants must have the right to use the content they publish and must use customer data lawfully, including for marketing emails. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

6. Connected services

Tenants and team members may connect other services, such as Google Calendar, Stripe or social networks. Those services' own terms also apply. A connection can be removed at any time; the Privacy Policy explains what happens to the data.

7. Domains

Tenants may use a name.trym.app address or connect a domain they own. The salon is responsible for its domain and for making sure it does not infringe anyone's rights.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Trym to break the law, send spam, infringe the rights of others, try to access other accounts or data, or disrupt the platform.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Trym available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change. Material changes to these terms are announced before they take effect.

10. Limitation of liability

Trym is not responsible for the services provided at a salon, for physical injuries, or for disputes between salons and their Users. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount the salon paid for its Trym subscription in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

A salon can cancel at any time; the subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
